RR Flexible Panel Wire 10mm² Single Core

The RR Flexible Panel Wire 10mm² Single Core is a large-section flexible conductor for high-current main connections, busbar links, and heavy power wiring inside large industrial panels and MCCs. Its fine-stranded 10mm² conductor provides the combination of current capacity and flexibility required for demanding UAE industrial panel installations. Available in Black, Blue, Red, Yellow, and Yellow/Green. Sold per metre.

Key Features

  • 10mm² fine-stranded conductor for heavy panel power connections
  • High current-carrying capacity for main panel distribution
  • Fine stranding for flexibility despite large cross-section
  • PVC insulation for panel and enclosure environments
  • Sold per metre for precise project ordering

FAQ

  • What does the 10mm² cross-section rating mean, and is it the right size?
The cross-section is the copper conductor's area in square millimetres, which determines how much current it can safely carry. 10mm² suits high-current main connections and busbar links in industrial panels and MCCs — always size the conductor to the connected load and the protective device rating, and confirm with your panel builder or electrical engineer.
  • Can I order an exact length, and how is the price calculated?
Yes — this wire is sold per metre, so you can order any length you need rather than a fixed drum quantity. The listed price is per metre; set the quantity to the number of metres required at checkout.
  • What's the difference between Flexible Panel Wire and RR Kabel's Single-Core Building Wire?
Flexible Panel Wire uses a fine, multi-strand copper conductor for routing inside control panels and enclosures where wires are frequently bent, formed, and ferruled. RR Kabel's Building Wire range uses a solid/coarser-stranded conductor for fixed wall and conduit installation in general building wiring, and isn't designed for the tight bends and repeated flexing found inside a panel.
  • Does this need to be installed by an electrician?
Panel and control wiring of this type — especially at this current-carrying size — is installed by a qualified panel builder or licensed electrician as part of a switchboard, MCC, or control panel build, in line with UAE wiring practice.
  • Why is fine-stranded construction used at a large cross-section like 10mm²?
Fine stranding keeps even a large-section conductor flexible enough to route and bend through crowded panel enclosures and terminate onto lugs or busbars — a solid conductor at this size would be far too stiff to work with inside a panel.
