Plug tops are replacement mains plugs, fitted when an appliance cord's original plug is damaged or when a cord is supplied bare-ended. The UAE uses the 13A three-pin BS 1363 pattern, and the fuse inside the plug must suit the appliance it feeds.
Fitting a plug top is a mains connection. If you are not confident identifying conductors and setting the correct fuse rating, have it done by a licensed electrician — an incorrectly wired or incorrectly fused plug is a fire and shock risk.
